SUMMER 1993 - Transportation of an entire chemical plant from Courtright, Ontario to the Port of Hamilton, Ontario.  The project consisted  of over 300 legal and over dimensional loads. The largest (shown below) was a vessel 80'0" long x 12'0" diameter and weighed 130,000#.  The overall size was 115'0' long x 12'0" wide x 16'0" high x 210,000#. The load rested on a 50 ton float with a turn-table at the front and a 4 axle hydraulic steering dolly at  the rear.

SUMMER 1996 - Transportation of 11 furnace components from a Fabrication Shop in Stoney Creek, Ontario  to DOFASCO in Hamilton, ON.  All  11 pieces were in excess of 28' wide. The 3 largest were 36'0" long x 32'0" wide x 12'0" high x 140,000#.  The moves were done at daybreak on Sunday mornings when it was determined that traffic would be the lightest.

SPRING 1997 -  Transportation of several  propane  tanks  from Lockport, New York to Sombra, Ontario. Each vessel was 120'0" long x 11'0" wide x 12'0" high x 150,000#. Overall dimensions were 160'0" long x 11'0" wide x 16'0" high x 228,000#. Our light-weight float and steering dolly combination allowed us to meet the strict weight limits on the Queenston-Lewiston bridge as well as the Spring Thaw Restrictions that were in effect in Ontario at the time.

WINTER 1999 - Transportation of 2 Compressors from San Diego, California to the Sable Island Energy Project in Nova Scotia. The compressors were valued at $8 Million (U.S.) each and were 32'0" long x 10'0" wide x 13'2" high and 90,000#. Overall size was 115'0" long x 10'0" wide x 15'4" high and 160,000#. The 4500 mile route from coast to coast  was completed in 2 1/2 weeks.
